This Initial Consultation Agreement is made between the Client (as entered in the First Name and Last Name fields in Calendly) and Luminex Immigration and Refugee Services Inc. (the “Company”), represented by Gagandeep Kaur Bains (RCIC-IRB), a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

By booking and paying for the consultation, the Client agrees to the following terms. No separate signature is required.

1. Nature of the Consultation This is a 20-minute paid consultation with Gagandeep Kaur Bains (RCIC-IRB). The session is intended to provide general guidance, answer case-specific questions, and outline possible immigration pathways to Canada based on the information provided by the Client.
2. Time Limitation Due to the limited duration, the RCIC cannot review every detail of the Client’s full profile or all possible immigration programs. The consultation is not a comprehensive case assessment or full application review.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome The RCIC will provide advice to the standard expected of a competent CICC member, based on Canadian immigration laws, IRCC policies, and other relevant regulations in force on the date of the consultation. Immigration laws, policies, and processing times can change at any time. The Client acknowledges that no outcome is guaranteed, and the RCIC and the Company are not liable for any changes in law, policy, or processing times.
4. Information Provided by the Client The Client agrees to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information and documents as requested before or during the consultation. The RCIC may ask for additional documents at their discretion. Any incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information may affect the quality of the advice given. In such cases, the RCIC and the Company are released from any liability, and the agreement may be considered void.
5. No Document Review Guarantee Due to time constraints, the RCIC may not be able to review every document or full case history during the 20-minute session. The consultation is advisory only and does not include formal document review or application preparation.
6. Services Not Included This consultation does not include file review services, application preparation, submission, representation before IRCC, the IRB, or any other authority, or any other ongoing services. Separate retainer agreements are required for those services.
7. Confidentiality The Client understands that the RCIC is bound by CICC’s By-Law, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations. The RCIC and the Company will maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with the CICC Code of Professional Conduct. Client information and documents will not be disclosed to any third party without prior consent, except as required by law or for internal professional support (e.g., co-counsel or mentorship arrangements, which are always disclosed to the Client when used).
8. Platform for Consultation The consultation may be conducted via Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, WhatsApp, or another mutually agreed video or audio platform.
9. Payment The Client confirms that the full consultation fee has been or will be paid prior to the scheduled appointment.
10. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Ontario, and the Federal Laws of Canada applicable therein.
11. Acceptance By paying the consultation fee and scheduling the appointment through Calendly, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Initial Consultation Agreement.
